Staghorn Reef

Most popular reef and a sparkling drift dive along big coral bommies on a white sandy flat bottom. Similar to Lucy’s Reef, you can find once more large concrete boxes that are being used to make an artificial reef.
Towards the south end of Staghorn Reef which corals almost reaches the surface makes this side a long time favourite for snorkeling and features a mixture of shallow boulders extending from the headland enclosing the center bay of the island.
Different kinds of juvenile reef fish are common like yellow boxfish. Numerous types of rays are huge moray eels, snappers, triggerfish and baby white tip reef sharks that can be spot below hiding inside the white sand. In addition, plenty of Lionfish and some Scorpion Fish create an attracting safety stop at the end of the dive.
The best time to visit Staghorn site is the month may to October.Location: Eastern side of Koh Racha Yai. Current: Moderate Visibility: 10 to 25 meters Depth: 5 to 32 meters
