Bungalow Bay

Bungalow Bay is one of the most common dive sites in Koh Racha Yai. A tropical paradise that offers crystal clear blue water, coconut trees and sandy beaches; it has a typical bay similar to reef where the hard coral rock formations lightly slope down into the middle bay.
On the way to the north and south side of the bay, both sides features excellent examples of hard and soft corals and start with a sandy bottom with areas of small coral bommies, and sea grass. At the center of the bay, you will find some small juvenile pelagic species and schooling fish. Sea snakes, sea moth, fusiliers, ribbontail rays, morays, surgeon fish turtles and octopus can be seen to the end edges of the bay. Besides the typical reef fish like angelfish, butterfly fish, parrot fish and snapper are commonly found here. It’s a preferred site for trainer and students because of the lack of current and shallow part of the bay.
Location: West side of Koh Racha Yai. Current: Moderate Visibility: 10 to 25 meters Depth: 4 to 30 meters
