Ao Siam

A home, perhaps the best beach on the island, Racha Yai; a great place for snorkelers and beginner divers; this site was construct recently with artificial reef structures planned to attract fish and give corals some substrate for expansion. It also provides beautiful places to take a picture while staying in this wonderful site called Ao Siam.

The main attraction here is a life sized temple entrance and two full sized Thai elephants, Thai Houses and Garudas that make unique photographic matter. At a depth of 12 to 18 meters, you will find scattered hard corals along the bottom of the surface. The sandy parts of it are full of blue spotted Kuhl’s stingrays, sometimes Batfish hang out close to the bigger coral heads in the shallows. It is appropriate for all certified experience level.
